Charles Dickens and great expectations
Charles was an English writer of the Victoriana
age, so called for the Victoria queen, why reigned 70 years in middle of
Industrial age, when she arrived at the power, the English population in its
majority was rural and at her death the majority population lived in city and
the industrial development was in the peak, this period was characterize by a moralist
society, in that the forms and the appearance was good looks.
Is here where the place, the social class,
where you had born, determined and marked all you life… for always (more that
now, which is supposed that the social mobility is more usual, We don’t forget
the speech of the present government: “We like the equality of opportunities”)
In this story Dickens shower as in almost all
his works parts of his biography, where Pip suffers the social inequality from
very small and by a good action, his life tikes a turn in 180 degree, where he
does live other life completely different, that is to say, from the privileged society
economically, but also at the same time look as your world disappear because
there isn´t connection between both class. Dickens shower the life of both
worlds where the real difference is the quantity of money.
Stefano,
ResponderEliminarWord Count: 215 words. You needed to write 250 words for this task... 215 is a bit too little.
Your point is very interesting, a historical-social point of view. Pay attention to your grammar. Some examples of wrong grammar are:
Victoria queen, (NOT why)WHO reigned 70 years in THE middle of THE Industrial age...
the majority OF THE population lived in CITIES...
this period was characterizeD...
where you had BEEN born...
In this story Dickens shower(???) ...Dickens shower (???) the life of both worlds... SHOWS...
